What is Burger Battle? An annual event to benefit Boys & Girls Clubs of the CSRA, Augusta’s top chefs prepare their own specialty burgers as they compete to be named Burger Battle Champion. Each participating restaurant will prepare a burger and your entry gives you the chance to try each one and cast your vote for the best. Tickets also include beverages (beer, wine, and non-alcoholic) plus entertainment by musical guest Funk You. Burger Battle is held at the E.W. Hagler Club located at 1903 Division Street, Augusta, GA. While you're there, be sure to tour our new facility!

This year's competition drew a crowd larger than ever and raised nearly $50,000 for local youth in our Boys & Girls Clubs. On September 28th, guests gathered at the newly renovated E.W. Hagler Boys & Girls Club to celebrate our grand re-opening, tour the new club, and sample one of a kind burgers prepared by some of Augusta's best- Village Deli, Finch & 5th, The Hive, Fat Man's Mill Cafe, Cucina 503, and Tastefully Yours Catering. The competition was heated and the burgers were some of the most unique and delicious we've had! Finch & 5th topped their breakfast burger served on a croissant with quail eggs and maple syrup. The Hive prepared a Greek burger topped with creamy tzaziki sauce and fresh mint leaves. Fat Man's Mill Cafe got in touch with their southern roots, preparing a burger piled high with mac n'cheese. Tastefully Yours gave their burger a Korean twist topping it with kimchi and serving it with crispy fried potatoes. And Village Deli took home the champions belt once again with an apple smoked pork belly burger, stuffed with cream cheese and topped with smoked & caramelized pork belly, sweet & spicy sauce, red onion, and granny smith apple. Adding to the fun, guests grooved to music by Funk You as they sampled each delicious creation. THANK YOU for joining us this year and please stay tuned for 2018 details!
